The 29-year-old, who still lives in Lurgan, spent his formative years in the Glenavon Academy before breaking into the first team during the 2013-14 season. He won Irish Cup winners’ medals in 2014 and 2016 and was a part of the team which challenged for the Premiership title in 2017-2018.

In January 2020 he left Mourneview Park to Shamrock Rovers. He was a member of the Rovers’ side which won the 2020 Premier Division Championship but lost to Dundalk in the FAI Cup Final.

He subsequently put pen to paper for Glentoran where he has been a first-team regular.

The directors are committed to ing the manager in attracting talented players. This is an indication of our determination to improve the squad between now and the start of next season.”
