Glenavon’s reward for its Euro Electrics Mid-Ulster Cup quarter final victory against Portadown is an away semi-final against either Dollingstown or Dungannon Swifts. 3t338

The clash with the Dollybirds or the Swifts will probably take place on Tuesday 12th November 2024.

Dollingstown’s quarter-final tie against Dungannon will be staged at Planter’s Park on Tuesday 22nd October 2024.

Newry City faces Loughgall in the other semi-final. On Tuesday night Newry defeated Rathriland Rangers on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Loughgall overcame Annagh United 3-1.

Glenavon last reached the Mid-Ulster Cup Final in May 2021 when Josh Doyle scored the winner in a 1-0 success against Loughgall.
