Glenavon FC are recruiting a new Media Officer.

The successful candidate will work with the Board of Directors, The Senior Squad and the Media Team to provide the Glenavon FC fans and sponsors a quality media experience.

In addition, they will liaise with NIFL on any new media guidelines being introduced.

The role is wide ranging and requires both media and communication skills. The Media Team at GFC work to provide a quality website, video, social media and match day package. The Media Office helps guide the team is working together providing the media needs of the football club.

If you are interested in new ways of advertising and NI Football League this is the role for you.

The successful candidate will be working with the Glenavon Commercial Team and The Senior Squad to provide content for the Big Screen at Mourneview Park.

The key aspect of this role is to create media for the Big Screen, from player profiles to sponsors adverts. This includes wide screen format images and videos.

In addition, the role includes collating content and operation of the big screen on match day.

Training will be provided on the Big Screen software.

The Glenavon FC Media Team are recruiting creative individuals to help with their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram campaigns. From match day advertising to funding campaigns this role will allow the successful candidates to bring new and innovative ideas to GFCs social media.

The media team is recruiting a volunteer to produce a match highlights package for the club’s YouTube Channel.

The volunteer will be have access to the BBC coverage and will edit each game into a short but action packed highlights video.
